Why my reality is better & safer :tearsofjoy:
Your reality is not reality.
1. I don't feel threatened by astride's
2 I don't have to worry about the earth ever stopping.
3 I don't have to worry about space debris falling from space.
4. I don't need a degree in how the universe works.
Neither do I.
Even assuming that the first on your list is asteroids; they are not something I have ever worried about either.
I don't need to believe that that man landed on the moon.
I don't NEED to believe it; it happened, whatever my thoughts on the subject.
The only thing I need to think about is 'do I have pancakes or corn flakes for breakfast :sigh:
You stay in your little bubble, thinking about trivial things - much safer for the rest of us.

It says a lot, @Apple Sky, that you believe the way God has created the world to be hysterically funny.

Maybe you should rename yourself, pie-in-the-sky.

Assuming you didn't mean "astrides" but "asteroids", then I don't feel threatened by any of the five things on your list, and I don't believe the earth is a flat disc.

You react to @Strong in Him post # 1321 with a laugh, so you think that her post should not be treated seriously?

I'll answer your post point by point then as well:

1. I don't feel threatened by asteroids. I never have. It doesn't change the fact that asteroids exist and whatever the Lord decrees will be. My security is in the Him alone.

2. I never worry about the earth stopping. It doesn't change the fact that it is a rotating globe. If it stops, then the Lord has decreed it. My security is Him alone.

3. I never worry about debris falling from space. It doesn't change the fact that there is plenty of debris there. My security is in the Lord and His plan for my life is far more important than to worry about such things.

4. I don't have a degree in how the universe works, nor do I need it to take an interest in God's immense and hugely complex creation, and to learn what I can about it. It is absolutely fascinating and reflects the character of God that He has created something so complex and immense that even a tiny fraction of it is beyond human understanding.

5. I don't need to believe man landed on the moon either. But there is ample evidence that we have. All objections to that fact have been answered very well and are available to anyone who bothers to investigate it instead of just believing it or not believing it.

Everything you said here does not change my walk with Lord and His plan for my life. What I thought about this morning, apart from responding to you that is? Clothes washing, recycling, driving my lovely wife to her art class.

I'm not cowering in fear or wondering what my next meme/YouTube video/article will be that I can post to try and poke people who believe anything different to me.

But do you see how none of what you said changes reality nor does a globe earth affect my life in any negative way at all?

Yes, but I can't help knowing that the earth is level/flat.

“Can’t help knowing” is not the same as knowing. If you can’t help doing something, then it’s an addiction.

No it's not, just knowing is knowing when something is right.

No it’s not. There are plenty of people who claim they “know” something when it is completely and provably false. Flat earth is one of them. Your lack of knowledge of anything to do with maths & physics hinders you from seeing it.

And to repeatedly accuse all eye witness testimony of a globe earth as lies is both irrational and self delusional.

I can't ignore that fact that water always finds it own level.

I've shown you before that water does not 'always' find its own 'level'. Here it's affected by centrifugal force:

Water is also subject to gravity. You don't believe in gravity, so you just ignore that.

Examples of eye witness testimony of the earth's curvature:

"You literally feel like you're on top of the world," said retired Air Force Colonel Ed Walby. "You can see the curvature of the earth. You can see stars during the day."

'4 June 1954: at Edwards Air Force Base, California, Major Arthur W. “Kit” Murray flew the experimental Bell X-1A research rocketplane to an altitude of 89,810 feet (27,374 meters). He flew high enough that the sky darkened and he was able to see the curvature of the Earth. Newspapers called him “America’s first space pilot.”'

"But suffice it to say that the curvature of the earth is slightly visible at airliner altitudes but quite clearly visible from 10,000 feet higher. At 51,000 feet, the highest ceiling of any production airplane, it's quite easy to see, especially if you're in the pilot's seat and are afforded a field of view of 300 degrees or so."

"The experience of cruising along at 51,000 and seeing the earth visibly curved and farther below than I'd ever seen it before gave me a taste of what it might be like to be in space."

But of course you ignore these too, or call them lies.

I don't believe it is the force gravity that keeps the seas from flying off into space, if this is the case then by rights every thing like birds should be forced down also. With the force of gravity being so strong as this everything by rights would be flattened (excuse the pun) I wouldn't even be able to lift my arms.

No it's not, just knowing is knowing when something is right.
But you don't know that it's right.
You firmly believe that it is but you don't know, because you haven't investigated. And you won't. People have given eyewitness accounts of the curvature of the earth, that they've walked on the moon, taken photos of the earth from the moon and been to Antarctica.
Your response to all those things? They're liars.

You don't know o_O
That's why I'm asking.
What's your answer - or don't you know either?
Yep, I like to call them fairy tale tellers now.
I would guess that, if they knew, they would not only call you a slanderer but take you to court for it.
Do you have any evidence? Oh; silly me!
