Because it’s something he is doing which is against Scripture. There is an extra burden of responsibility on teachers to get it right. This verse is very easy to get in context, yet he refuses to read it in context. That places him at odds with the Lord.

It’s not just about one verse, it’s about his refusal to recognise his responsibility before God to make sure he gets it right and not mislead people.

He also bears some responsibility for you posting this verse numerous times & repeating his erroneous teaching.

Why my reality is better & safer

1. I don't feel threatened by astride's
2 I don't have to worry about the earth ever stopping.
3 I don't have to worry about space debris falling from space.
4. I don't need a degree in how the universe works.
5. I don't need to believe that that man landed on the moon.

The only thing I need to think about is 'do I have pancakes or corn flakes for breakfast

I don't 'need' any of those things either. My security is in the Lord. But it doesn't change reality. You understand nothing of science and maths, so you can't debate on that level. You can stay in your bubble but it doesn't change reality either. Your 'reality' is not reality.
