But God hasn't said that. He saidGod.
Ditto your reactions to earth turning on its own axis or revolving around the sun.You can laugh all you want but it doesn't make it any less true.

Your answer to such statements have been, "well I can't feel/see it". Your senses tell you that something isn't happening,
Not only that but the Bible states that earth is unmovable.
The Bible is not a science textbook and God did not write it to teach the technical details of the universe that he made - let THAT sink in.The earth is unmovale, let it sink home,
Do you want some proofs that the verbal plenary inspiration view is wrong?God.
If the earth is flat, the sun would appear as a point of light at sunrise. It would then get visually bigger as it approaches noon. You have said you observed that the sun is bigger at sunrise than it is at noon. The earth is unmovale, let it sink home,
This was not said by God, either. It is a description of Ezekiel. As written down by some anonymous author. But God hasn't said that. He said
“The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads.” (Eze 1:22 NKJV)
(That's about its colour, not its solidity.)
I know you don't believe that the bible's ultimate Author is God Himself, but I and many others here do.This was not said by God, either. It is a description of Ezekiel. As written down by some anonymous author.
No, really, read the text. It is not ascribed to God, but it is a description by Ezekiel.I know you don't believe that the bible's ultimate Author is God Himself, but I and many others here do.
You have misunderstood what I said. Many of us here believe that while the immediate authors of the bible were human beings, God enabled them to write His truth, and so He is the ultimate Author. 2 Timothy 3 indicates this:No, really, read the text. It is not ascribed to God, but it is a description by Ezekiel.
When, for example, disciples, Pharisees or Pilate say something in gospels, we also do not say "God said...".
I think I understand your view of inspiration, but even with that view, not everything said in the Bible is said by God.You have misunderstood what I said. Many of us here believe that while the immediate authors of the bible were human beings, God enabled them to write His truth, and so He is the ultimate Author.

Come on! What is being recorded in Matthew 14:15 is the fact that the disciples said the words, "This is a desert place," etc.) What is recorded in Ezekiel 1 is a vision given to Ezekiel by God:I think I understand your view of inspiration, but even with that view, not everything said in the Bible is said by God.
For example:
And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away...
Mt 14:15
If we said "God said: this is a desert place, and the time is now past..." we would misrepresent the text. According to the text, the disciples said that.
No He didn’t. Now answer the question I have asked instead if avoiding it…as usual.
I’ve repeated it several times, is your memory really that bad??? It’s even on the this same page. And the only reason for the “commotion” is because you keep avoiding answering anything logically!Sorry -What was the question agian ? I've forgotten with all the commotion going on.
