It's not irrelevant if the question put to you is "what is the motivation". Still it's your prerogative not to answer if you don't want to.

Would it be relevant if I asked if this flat-earth ever been mapped?

Nope. Do you actually think pictures are proof?

Verifiable satellite images?...yes, those would constitute proof.

I'll restate an earlier question...that would be "Why?" Would would a group conspire to convince people of a globe-earth if it were actually flat? What would be the end goal in that? For them to pull that off, it'd have to be the most-well planned, thoroughly executed hoax of all time...and for what? What exactly would that accomplish?

For instance, in the 9/11 conspiracy theories, the supposed goal was "So Bush could get the support he wanted for military involvement because if people got mad at entities in the Middle East, they'd back his agenda"...

What's the equivalent here?

From what I can tell, it's seems to be nothing more than an underlying anti-Science sentiment by people who don't like some other things that scientific data suggests pertaining to origins and other things that conflict with their religion, so they want to oppose official science whenever they have the chance. Thus the reason they reject medical and ecological science as well.

They start with the premise that "The officially scientific report is always a hoax", and then proceed to go out and specifically search for things that agree with their position.

Verifiable satellite images?...yes, those would constitute proof.

When some show a curve and other show no curve at all, they are contradictory. When they originate from sources that are verifiable consistent liars, they are suspect. As a result, in themselves, they aren't proof of anything.

Don't know the answer to that anymore than I can answer why hordes of people seek to deceive the world into believing evolution. All I know is that just as evolution is a lie that is forced on us since birth. Likewise, so is the heliocentric model lie forced on us from birth. You tell me why they lie about evolution and maybe we can figure the other one out together.

That's because you don't understand what you are arguing against. It's easy to generalize in such a way when you don't know any better.

Empirical evidence doesn't lie.

It seems you know about as much as Jon Snow.

At least Jon Snow knew better than to argue the point ...

Great examples of why I stopped presenting evidence to this group. Insults, mocking and ridicule. Laughably predictable.

I asked you for photographic evidence. You have failed to provide this. If there was any evidence you would provide some but I will assume that since you cannot provide me with any evidence that your claim is nothing more than just your belief.

Did you know that China is on the same continent as the United States? I have evidence if you actually cared about it you will find it. I’m not under any obligation though to provide you with any evidence. You are just being intellectually lazy if you do not want to go find the evidence.

Listen if I have been lied to then it’s my own eyes that have lied because I have seen the curvature of the earth from just flying in a plane.

I've already said many times I'm not doing that with this group any longer. Just reminding there are alternatives to the lie you've been forced-fed your whole lives.

I provide evidence, I'm insulted and mocked, then I don't provide evidence, and I'm insulted and mocked. What a hateful group of people reside on the forum.

More mockery. You people are just amazing.

No, you haven't. Even if I were a glober still, that wouldn't hold water. You are really deep in the lie enough that you convince yourself that you're seeing things that aren't there.

*sigh*

This really is going over your head isn't?

Anyway back to ignore we go...

Go ahead and hide from God's Truth but eventually you must account for your unbelief. You seem like a fine person to me and I'm not threatening you, but instead, I don't want to see you walk off that cliff. It's not the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom, that gets you. Good luck to you ole friend.

Saying "there's plenty of info out there", isn't the same as providing said info.

If there is plenty of info, then it shouldn't be hard for you to provide some links or evidence to support FE claims.

Adam's Earth was flat and was covered on its mountains when the flood prevailed to 22.5 feet (15 cubits)in depth. Genesis 7:20 The present Earth is round and is 30k feet high on it's highest mountains. Adam's Earth had only 4 Rivers and they all came from one source. Genesis 2:10 Texas alone has almost 4,000 Rivers.

IOW, you have confused Adam's small flat Earth with the present Earth. Try as you may, you cannot understand Genesis until you know the difference between Adam's Earth, which was "clean dissolved" in the flood and the present Earth.

This is surely what it's really all about.... A self-satisfied, smug feeling of intellectual superiority over us "sheep".

Do you think that ALL "sheep" hide from God's Truth? That's been my experience. As soon as you totally destroy their faith filled beliefs in their changeable Theories, they either run away or put you on ignore. NONE of them can debate the subject with actual evidence so they run, hide or imply that you're nuts.

Nice excuse not to post any photographic or video evidence to support your claim.

More mockery. You people are just amazing.
I'm just using your logic. Sounds pretty ridiculous when I do it right?

First person accounts are not evidence? You must have been there to know what I was looking at then. Apparently first person accounts or photographs are not evidence in your world.

Again, I'm done with offering this group anything but knowledge of an alternative to the lie. I've presented proof over and over again in prior threads. Pretending that I haven't won't make it go away.
Flounce part II.

Anyway re: movement.
- Fucault pendulums
- The change in the stars
- The change in seasons
- The change in daylight
- Calculations for artillery and naval gunnery
- Time difference between east and west flights.
Etc.

But but but... Experiments!

Don't forget the "I'm woke" appeal that some people find in conspiracy theories.

Don't forget the "I'm woke" appeal that some people find in conspiracy theories.

I know...having members of my own family in that camp, I've many a time endured their cringe-worthy condescension about how I'm one of the "sheeple" and they're the ones who are enlightened and had their eyes opened.

The ironic part is that they'll spend countless hours on the internet using "n-th degree of Kevin Bacon" logic to try to shoot holes in official stories, yet, for some of the things they believe in, if they even put 1/10th the effort into shooting holes in that, their alternative beliefs would collapse like a deck of cards.

My flat-earther relative is also one of the types that subscribes to all of the vaccine/"big pharma" related conspiracies, and his supporting information almost exclusively comes from his Chiropractor and Chiropractic philosophies in general.

The irony is that the entire concept of chiropractic came from a solitary man (twice convicted of medical crimes) based on a single, unverifiable, anecdote about how he cured someone's deafness by adjusting their neck...and when prompted, couldn't provide evidence, the whereabouts of this supposed person who he cured (or the person's family), or any specific details about where & when it took place.

If there was ever a story that easy to shoot holes through, the origin of Chiropractic has to be on the top of that list. Yet, they'll buy into that 100%, but when it comes to things like vaccines, it's suddenly "well, the guy who was the mechanic for a cousin of the lady that the CEO of Pfizer used to play tennis with lived on the same street as someone who worked for the FDA!!!...see, they're all in on it...it's all part of the web of deception!"

If they put even a fraction of the effort into debunking the guys (homeopaths, chiro's, naturopaths) that are telling them vaccines are bad, those ideologies wouldn't hold up at all. Conspiracy theorists tend to prefer confirmation bias that's full of holes over airtight tangible evidence.

Well, you haven't provided any evidence worth the name. What you have done is scoffed, called people liars, and ignored the real evidence. Those are not nice things to do.

The evidence for a globe is overwhelming, which is why we've known for 2500 years that the world is a globe.

Just to pick two pieces of evidence: the stars visible in the Southern Hemisphere, and the way that they move. How do you explain that? And the airline flights from Sydney to Santiago and from Sydney to Johannesburg which pass by Antarctica. How do you explain those?
