That was late to the party evidence, as civilizations had come and gone that covered the globe, and traded around the globe, and built great civilizations over the entire globe that knew the world was a globe, and who had descended, as tribes, from one of Noah's three sons [world means globe, for one, in Hebrew].
Civilizations rise, and fall, and not even the names of their kings is remembered, but the Word of God from the beginning shows a created globe of waters, in Genesis 1. with the not yet stretched out heavens [stretched out from the earth between the divided in two waters of creation on day 2] circling the waters of the globe on day 1, as evening and morning, making one day.

Any fool can prove the world is a globe with little effort.

First off: Why would the Bible consistently describe a flat earth, when it's a sphere?
So i'm taking in arguments people produce for a flat earth now, see where i end up.
I'm used to cognitive dissonance, so that doesn't bother me too much.

That only denotes the center of gravity, not the earths shape.
A perfectly flat surface one mile thick would also have the same result.

What?? No it wouldn't. A perfectly flat surface a mile thick, the lines would be parallel, but that's not what we see, they both hang toward a single centre of gravity.
