Dont be hysterical. They do not try to implement any "one world religion", they actually try to do the opposite - they want to create inclusive company culture and they are afraid that the name of Jesus would exclude some non-Christian employees from joining the club.

Thats all. Christian NASA employees will maybe take it to court, so it may even change in the future.

We do not have to agree with such internal company rules, but it has absolutely no relevance regarding the planet's actual shape.

I don't know whether they actually believe the second bit or whether it's a position they feel they have to maintain to shore up their argument. One problem might be the word "spin" - something that turns only once every 24 hours is not "spinning", as in a top.
Everyone can know, or experience for themselves, what it feels like to travel at 10 miles per hour; it doesn't make sense to say otherwise.

You left out anyone who teaches physics or applied maths from O Level / GCSE level upwards (14 years old and upwards). As well as any students who study these subjects.

Obviously students / pupils / children who don't pay attention or fall asleep in lessons, skyve, or who just do not understand, would be excluded from being included in the conspiracy.

Oh I’m sure I left out numerous other categories of people who would have to be in on this ridiculous conspiracy, not to mention that the whole purpose of the conspiracy doesn’t make any sense whatsoever since 99% of Christians acknowledge that the earth is a globe and it hasn’t affected their salvation or their faith in the least.

1. I assume you're talking about people who had the Covid vaccination?
That's off topic and has nothing to do with a flat earth.
2. I've read accounts - written by nurses and doctors - of those who've scorned the vaccination, got Covid, been dying in hospital and begging for the jab. It was too late for them.

Ok but my point is that if they are sincere in their belief then they wouldn't be pretending that they can’t understand simple basic principles that even elementary children can understand. You said yourself that they should be capable of understanding the examples I gave so why are they pretending that they don’t? Is it because they can’t understand them or is it because they don’t want to admit that they are true? Not wanting to admit something doesn’t mean that they actually believe in it. I don’t like to admit to my kids that I used drugs when I was younger but that doesn’t negate the fact that I did and it certainly doesn’t imply that I don’t believe that I actually did. There using this logic that if the earth is a spinning ball that water should fly off of it like the wet tennis ball picture with water droplets flying off of it. That makes perfect sense to them but when I point out that the tennis ball isn’t spinning the same speed as the earth they all the sudden can’t fathom that concept. They know that gravity is a theory created by Newton and the existence of the Van Allen Belt which denotes some basic level of intelligence. Yet they pretend they don’t understand how water would react on a wet tennis ball spinning one rotation every 24 hours. There are just too many impossible scenarios connected with the flat earth theory that we can observe with our own eyes. The map problem, sunrises and sunsets problem, the unbelievable worldwide conspiracy problem, it’s inconceivable that anyone could actually believe this and possess the mental capacity to read and write.

I agree with BNR32FAN.

The ingenuity and dishonesty of flat earthers can be seen in ignoring and dismissing all the arguments and evidence for the standard model and ignoring questions and problems their "theory" postulates.

They must know what they are doing - that all their arguments were properly answered but they are unable to answer ours. That they use sources taken out of their context and similar - this is an objective truth they can verify by just checking and 5 sec googling.

On the other hand, I do not think they are just lying or trolling. So the only hypothesis I can think of is some kind of mental impairment - inability to live in reality, maybe paranoia. Inability to distinguish the quality of sources, inability to check what they hear, inability to grasp the world (or Bible) in a more complex context.
