I know these pics aren't very good, but they are the only 3 I was able to get at church tonight before the battery in my digital camera died...

The Blood of the Lamb - go, girl! I was using red ones too.

And Fr Rick - lovely pics anyway! Thank you for sharing them. You seem to have the one thing in a church that's vital for flag worship - ROOM!!!
Here's a pic of the inside of the church... so you can see, we do have a nice amount of room.

The ceiling is about 30 feet high, so that's no problem. The center aisle is fairly wide (although the side aisles are narrow)... and there is plenty of room around the altar as well as in the back.

It's beautiful! I'll bet the atmosphere is very serene and spiritual. That what it looks like to me, anyway. Thank you for sharing that, Rick.

I love high ceilings. Maybe because the first churches I went to were often cathedrals - Norwich cathedral was the first.

I'm planning to do a flag worship pilgrimage of cathedrals and I'm starting with Durham cathedraal. Now that is BIG!

What I like best about the church is the stained glass windows...

You can't see them in the first pic, since there are simple stained glass down the sides but the really nice ones are in the back.

Here's a pic of the back of the church, and some pics of the windows so you can see them.

I was able to dance with the white wing flags this past Sunday--the music team was playing "You are near" a song that has an exaltation bridge that proclaims "Blessing and honor and glory and power forever, forever....." , a wonderful place for the imagery of myriads of angels whirling in joyous exaltation. (at least that is what I was hoping people were seeing in the dance!)

I'm continually amazed at the different things God speaks through the wing flags--as above, a picture of angelic exuberance, the holiness of the cherubim wings, the intercession of the "wings" of the tallit, the courage and ascendancy of eagle wings, the soft peace and healing imparted by the ministry of the wings of the Dove--all from two pieces of white fabric on sticks. Isn't God amazing?

Lovely imagery, ZF. As it happens, I was with my prayer partner last night (we 'meet' every Monday - she's in Spain!!) and she prayed about have the wings of angels softly wafting "peace and glory and honour for ever and ever"!! How's about that?

BUt folks - will you please pray for me? It's only a little thing really but I sprained my left foot whilst flagging on Sunday! So what with the sore right knee and sore right shoulder - oh I feel OLD!!!!

Those are beautiful!

Who is the young man with the quill supposed to be?

And is that Ruth with the grain in her hands? Do you know why she's wearing a "turban"?

I believe it is St. John the Evangelist, but I'll have to check.

Yes, it's Ruth. I'm not sure why they chose that particular headdress for her.

Are these windows in
St. Thomas More Old Catholic Mission in Florida?
The reason I ask is because I saved a copy of the one of Ruth, and the file was named Westminster.
It's not at Westminster Abbey, is it?

My parish (St. Thomas More) shares the facilities with Westminster Presbyterian here in Lakeland... when I took the pics, I labelled them as Westminister...
