Haha! The secret is to just let her get on with it...you don't get between a woman and her Dairy Milk :D

(No seriously)

Lol I'm joking

(I'm not)

:p
You proved my point of chocolate being the catknip for women. :D

Also, do you think all men are like you, ie, they don't mind a girl pigging out at dinner? Cos if so you have made my day  Although the question is, how would you feel 6 months down the line when we resemble a beach ball? :p
I wish I could speak for all men on this but I can't. The best I can say is, there is nothing wrong love handles...they are called 'love' handles for a reason ;)

Plus I would expect a woman's insecurity to kick in. Say she feels so excited that she can just pig out in front of me. She knows if she has barbecue sauce caked on her lips from the ribs, I will be turned on, not turned off she'll eat a lot for a short time only. Then she'll go back to eating less to help try to fix her insecurity of her appearance.

True, that is pretty much what I do, even without a BF around to watch me spill stuff all over myself! :p

Also, good about the love handles! Not that I want to be fat or anything, but short of starving myself I don't think I'm ever going to be magazine-girl thin. And as I live to eat not eat to live, it's just never going to happen full stop! :D

THAT A GIRL!

Women need to remember, love handles doesn't mean fatness...it means love handles or that they have a body. Just my opinion.

its amazing the effect the right dame has on a man, it can drive us to frequent her place of work, whether she be a waitress, bartender, masseuse, or Hot Topic store clerk.

A young lady definitely caught my eye lately at the local Thai restaurant, and needless to say, it just may drive me for some Thai takeout 2-3 times a week^_^

This reminds me of when I used to go in this certain store a few times a week because of one of the guys working there. ^_^

Dude... but you are an anomaly, and seemingly asexual/anti-social:p you would probably be cool if you were the only person living on Earth like that one movie with Will Smith. (I'm totally joking with you man)

I'd so survive a zombie apocalypse if one ever happens. P:

I hear you- live life now, we are not promised anything- although I would like to know what it's like to be in love- just not to the point where that's all I want to think about. Make sense?

I understand where you're coming from. However, I don't necessarily agree. The saying "It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all" is garbage, from my perspective. Then again, the last few times I actually tried dating, I attracted the unstable ones (though I have no room to talk as I was a bit emotionally unstable as well, not to mention unsure of where I stood on deal breakers, expectations, values, standards, etc.) where the break off was absolutely messy.

That saying is going to have different meanings, if any, to different people. Still, I don't focus on it. I wish my ex-dates/girlfriends all the best and hope they're happy and I go on with life and my college education. :)

I once said yes to being fixed up by a co-worker. I figured i'd give it a try and the girl wanting to fix me up was around my age and we were semi friends so I thought she would know someone halfway decent..... NEVER AGAIN. The guy like lived in his mom's basement and had only come out in his 30 years to see the original star wars. And he had a belt buckle bigger than my head!!!! The only reason she thought we would be good together was we were around the same age and both single. It turns out she didn't know him that well and she really didn't know me that well either. All she knew is that i was single and a christian.....

Well, I could pretend to be your girlfriend if that helps, but I'm not a skinny girl. LOL I don't know where I fit on the spectrum. I've never had someone try to set me up with a larger guy though because I am overweight...always just average people (I guess that's how my friends see me). My problem is that I always wonder if guys who aren't overweight like me, won't be interested in me. Most guys want a thin girl. I'm finding that will never be me, even if I eat healthy and exercise (which I do).

In your situation, I would just tell people that you don't want to be set up-period. And leave it at that.

I'm not skinny by any means and have found that I don't want to be, I prefer myself as I am- hips and all, I just want to get down to a certain size, but if I lose my hips and my womanly figure- I will gain that right back^_^.

I won't alter my appearance at all to gain a man's attention and frankly I would hope that any man who would not want me as I am right now, would not try to approach me when I shed a few more lbs. Why would I want someone whose only deter for previously not dating me was my size?
I think Marilyn Monroe said it best, something to the sound of "If you can't take me at my worst, you don't deserve to have me at my best". Not biblical and certainly wouldn't hold that as such, but in a way she had a point.

Love is supposed to be about taking the person at their best and worst. It's fine for people to have their preferences, cause I do have mine, but I have a HUGE issue with someone only passing on people due to size. Again, I wouldn't want any man with me only because he thought I deserved a chance after I lost weight. I don't think "well, she looks nice" is reason enough to date someone. I think that's why I don't like dating random people, I have to get to know people before I'd ever want to date them and that's a huge reason why I will not do blind dates.

Coach, if you are ever approached in the future, I think you should just be honest and say Thanks, but I am not interested.
