I guess that's why this theory/fact of evolution has increased it's estimates several times by billions of years since I was a kid...and back then (in the '50's) was called the THEORY of evolution!. I'm supposed to place my faith in that kind of science? We've explained it to you carefully several times, but we can't understand it for you. You need to make a little honest effort.
No, this is a logical fallacy. Your interpretation of scripture could still be wrong.Your opinion.
If there is a God and He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures then evolution is false or He is lying.
Perhaps Covid-19 should be at the apex of the evolutionary ladder. It reproduces quite robustly. The survival of the fittest to reproduce.
Could be, but so could the interpretations of the geological data. No, this is a logical fallacy. Your interpretation of scripture could still be wrong.
No, it doesn't. This is just more evidence that you don't understand, or WANT to understand, what evolution actually is.Depends. What are we supposed to be 'evolving' towards? 'Evolve' usually carries the concept of betterment.
No faith is needed, and the dating of the Earth has improved over time. Why wouldn't it?I guess that's why this theory/fact of evolution has increased it's estimates several times by billions of years since I was a kid...and back then (in the '50's) was called the THEORY of evolution!. Sorry. But the effects of gravity can be repeatedly observed...not evolution.Your question is poorly worded, but gravity is an excellent example.
the apex of the evolutionary ladder

The theory of evolution is still called the theory of evolution. The name hasn't changed. But the theory of evolution, like all scientific theories, was created to explain natural phenomena. In the case of the theory of evolution, that phenomenon is called evolution. What would you expect a theory to be called which was developed to explain evolution? The theory of chocolate cake?I guess that's why this theory/fact of evolution has increased it's estimates several times by billions of years since I was a kid...and back then (in the '50's) was called the THEORY of evolution!. Wow. You don't even try, do you?Ok, what was once a theory is now called a fact and what was once called a fact is now a theory.
So when this forum calls it the theory of evolution, they take it for a fact. Sometime since I was in college (in the '60's) the definition of theory has changed to mean what once was called 'fact'. Oh well.
BTW how many repeated observations has evolution undergone?
So that could not be evolution taking millions of years. Otherwise we could see evolution across species on a daily basis. Many millions.
In fairness to the teachers, there are instances of knowledge falling on stony ground.Maybe it was your teachers back in the 1950s and 1960s who should be blamed, since you have 'learned' a very faulty view of what evolution is.
You seem determined to misunderstand or misinterpret everything. Until you show a genuine willingness to attempt to absorb what you are being told I have no interest in further communication with you. Deliberate contrariness may seem to you to be affirmation of your beliefs. From here it looks very much like a lack of integrity. So that could not be evolution taking millions of years. Otherwise we could see evolution across species on a daily basis.
There may have been six members, but there has only been one viewpoint.Ok. It's been fun (6 against one).
Sorry. But the effects of gravity can be repeatedly observed...not evolution.
"Across species" is an inexact term. We can regularly observe speciation. That is by definition "macroevolution". It is not the strawman version of evolution. One thing to remember in evolution is that there is no "change of kind". Man never stopped being an ape because he still is an ape. Creationists often demand to see things that would refute the theory of evolution to "prove it".So that could not be evolution taking millions of years. Otherwise we could see evolution across species on a daily basis.
