What is the first then that you notice about the opposite sex when seeing someone for the first time/just noticing someone?

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex? (looks, personality, etc)

I haven't noticed men in a while but when I did, it was the eyes, you can tell a lot from a guy's eyes, mean people have mean eyes.

Eyes, hands, and tone of voice. Basically what you look at to figure out if someone is a threat lol...

I generaly notice the overal package does the style of close fit the persons attitude/ personality, do they have preppy clothes and a goth hairstlye (yes I have seen this and it is disturbing) then its the eyes...

Haha, I'm glad a guy wasn't afraid to say this. It may not be the first thing I notice, but to say I never look below a girl's neck... I'd have to lie.

Things I notice first in a girl... well, it depends. Suppose I'm walking behind a girl... the first thing I notice is her butt swaying before me...

Oh, uh, but presuming a young lady walks into a room I'm in, I notice first her (1) Eyes, (2) Hair, (3) Breasts, (4) Smile, (5) interaction with others

My personal taste in women are brunettes. Not too picky about breasts, really (as long as they're there ). The most important thing, to me, is a girl I'm able to connect with. There's no sense in pairing up with a gorgeous supermodel if there's no chemistry between us. I want the girl I marry to also be my best friend. By far, that is the most important factor.

General characteristics: intelligence (doesn't need to be Einstein but there has to be someone behind the wheel), a sense of humor (doesn't need to be a stand-up comedian, but come on, life is too short to always take seriously), consideration for others, a fair amount of social skills (though there's no need to be Ms. Popular), and of course, joy.

No doubt I'm pesuming a relationship with Christ is a given in being attracted to someone.

First thing I noticed with my current boyfriend was his personality, as we met up (after five years apart) via msn, so we started off by talking heaps, and that's what got us hooked.

Hmm, I've never thought of that!

If he's wearing a hat, I guess I look to see how his hair looks with the hat on. I can generally judge to see how long it is, what colour, what type etc. I like long hair, that's well looked-after.

I'm strange. The next thing I look at is eyes, so I guess until I can somehow get him to take his hat off, I'll go by his eyes...

Eyes of course! Afterall they are a window to the soul, but a close second would be hip bones (yers I'm weird .. its cool).

I find various things in various people attractive, but personality is key. I like a guy who can surpass me in my randomness/quirkiness.

whatever's coming out of her mouth. Not that I wasn't paying attention before, the emphasis shifts once I know what I like and don't like about her looks. If I hear someone saying something attactive, I'll turn my head.

I agree with that on the eyes part, but how he takes care of his hair and how he styles it and how he wears it can also tell a whole heap. You can have a man who carries himself well, but with unwashed, messy hair, that tells you something is up. Or a guy who has bad posture (he might be a bit shy or something) but has wonderfully well-kept, washed hair, which means although he's shy, he does take care of himself and will therefore be a nice guy to be around.

What I like in a guy is just someone who is sweet and caring. And of course a Christian.

I guess I notice eyes-hair-facial-features-smile all in one go. Then general physique -- by which I mean height, tan, athleticism. I'm assuming the question what about what you notice visually first, right?
