all on cassette, eons before my first CD.

Wow--this is a difficult one!
We had albums back then:
one was a Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Tale one that I'd listen to over and over. . .
another was a Christian album, I think, called Happy Am I (a child sang Christian songs and I'd sing along)
then I listened to really tiny--were they called 45s? of Sesame Street albums, had a bunch of them. . .

I listened to only Country Western growing up.

I remember the first time I heard 'popular' rock music. It sounded so different to me: the artist I heard was John Cougar and that's when I discovered that type of music and I still like him today.

As a teen, I joined one of those Music clubs and I would forget to hand back the card and ended up with a lot of Eight track tapes of Kenny Rogers. . . loved every one of them, too
