Hahahaha, the girl sounds like me!!!Another great first date is anything athletic. Mountain biking, ice skating, hiking, whatever. It's good to find out early if the person you are considering is lazy or doesn't have enough self-respect to keep themselves fit. I have a friend who is married to a nice enough girl, but he resents the fact that they can never do anything that he yearns for, like mountain climbing, kayaking, etc, because she can't be bothered to get herself into shape.
Hahahaha, the girl sounds like me!!!.....We do like to take long walks though, and I think that can be a nice first date - allows for a lot of talking.
Oh - WARNING: if you mention cats to me, I can't stop talking - what's her name? I love calicos. Mine's called Minneke. To bring this back on topic: she wasn't there on our first date. LOL. But my two grey tabbies were, at least when my husband came to pick me up (we didn't take them with us of course).Aww, you're being modest as usual. You like long walks, and a long walk is just a change of terrain and a backpack away from being a hike. Throw in a hill and it's mountain climbing, walk under an overpass and it becomes spelunking. You're an adventurer, you just don't know it yet.
I have the twin to the cat in your avatar, btw.

Yeah, well, we take walks for the scenery actually, but thanks for the compliment.![]()

lolI was wondering when you were going to check in on the thread, Eva. Good Advice. Though if we went to a baseball game he would have to know that I am a very active watcher. It may be hard to appear feminine when clapping and cheering like crazy.
