First Communion classes

I just wanted to let you all know that I start my first communion classes on September 18th! I'm so excited. The woman I talked to, Sister Marie, asked me a lot of questions about why I wanted to become Catholic. I told her that I felt like it was a calling, but I don't know much about the religion. She said that it was okay cause that's what the classes are for! I filled out the form I needed to fill out and she gave me a book about Catholicism and said she looked forward to seeing me in class! I'm so excited, the only problem I'm having is who to choose as my God Parent...cause I don't really know any catholics. I guess I could ask my parents, my dad is Catholic by the way. SO anyway I just wanted to announce that to everyone...I don't know why...LoL sorry if this post doesn't go here.
