  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dear Lord,

I pray that there will be rain and that winds would die down so that the fires would go out in TX and OK. Please protect these people and their animals and homes. Please send rain to all these areas that are dried out and prime for fire. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Will you please pray for rain in Texas--particularly North Texas? The fires here are getting out of control, and it has been projected that with the high winds starting Friday, this weekend will be ever worse.

Praying for God's protection for all of those in the path of the fires.

Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

I posted somewhere else earlier and yeah, its dry out here. We all need to be on our knees for His intervention. Already heard a testimony about a family in Cross Plains that was desperately trying to save their house when the winds changed directions and spared their home.
