Remember that show that ran 11 episodes on Fox and then got canned for no particular reason? Probably not unless you saw it.
Firefly is one of the most entertaining shows I have ever seen. It is funny, dramatic, original, stylish, and a host of other glowing adjectives. Basically if you like science-fiction at all, or can even tolerate it, I would recommend watching Firefly, you will not be disappointed. Afterall the last show Firefly's creator worked on was a pretty decent success: Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I noticed there is a distinct lack of giddy Firefly praise on these forums and so I decided to start up a thread and see how many fans or even people that have seen the show are out there.
Seeing the massive cult following that has formed around the series a movie is in the works and will be out sometime later this year: Serenity
