Firefighter loses job after posting about 'pinto bean feeders' at the border

A part-time firefighter with the City of Bellaire and the Westfield Fire Department has been fired after an incendiary Facebook post.

KTRK-TV reports, earlier this week, Chris Bush posted this message on Facebook. "We should buy deer feeders fill them with pinto beans put them on the border and make a new hunting season. I wonder how many Texans will buy that hunting licenses and how many tags we would be allowed..."

They use this type of language because they feel encouraged.

I like pinto beans. I make a big ‘ole pot at least once, maybe twice a month. My wife likes them WAY more than I do... She could eat them every meal I think.

Glad he was fired. What a sick & stupid thing to write. I appreciate all that firefighters do but there needs to be a sense of trust. He has lost it.
