Finding God

Apart from my Angel my spirit was alone
Desperately trying to find it's way home
Could it be God, father, son, holy spirit
I've never believed before so why would it
I already had my Angel for love and protection
So why would I need God's love and affection
Then I met Julie the local Priest
The first vicar who was interested in my Angel at least
Came home after talking to Julie all glowing
Was it my Angel or was it God's love flowing
My Angel came and took me by the hand one night
Led me to god with all of her might

Now I had finally found the truth
That God exists don't need any more proof
Sceptical was I about this thing called faith
But how could I deny it, it was a bit late
