Finding a Way

I have been struggling with ways that I could witness to people. I have never witnessed to people before, and it would feel akward to talk about with my friends. But I do stick up for what I belive in.

I think I have finnaly found a way to witness to people. I am a computer/forum junkie and have found two good christain forums. I wonder if God is calling me to witness through forums. Help lead people to God that way.

I witnessed in a pretty cool way this year. I went to the local Christian Book store, and I bought some cards with different scriptues on them. I put them in every Christmas card that I sent out this year. So far I have got 2 calls from different people. They asked me about the cards and stuff. It opened up a great door.

I think it is awesome that you are wanting to witness, but are even looking for ways to do it.

There are as many different ways as there are people for witnessing to. I encourage you to not wory about having a nine point plan for the salvation of people you meet booklet in your pocket. Know the basics and the verses that correspond.

A very simple and easy way to begin evangelizing people is to simply tell people you are a Christian and give them your testimony if they will listen to you. Another way is to invite friends and peers to a Bible Study, Youth Group, Church, SundaySchool with you. More often than not they will attend out of respect for you.

As a pastor, I have no difficulty witnessing because people expect it. As soon as they hear I am a pastor they brace themselves against conversion, smile and wait to be beaten about the head and shoulders with their sin. In fact I frequently make it a practice to say as little as possible, except to ask them what religion they are. Inevitably a conversation will startup concerning some unimportant matter in life, or the news, and I will gently steer it towards Christ.
I encourage you to be a light in the dark neigborhood you live in. Shine Christ's light of love and hope into their sin darkened lives. You may be the only the hope they are ever going to have of salvation​
