  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Dr Feelgood, thanks for answering my post. It helps me to put certain comments in perspective. I think in some ways, you and I had similar years when we were younger and even the divorce issue. But I enjoyed reading your testimony. No, if you say you are a Christian, I'll accept it. Sometimes we write things that can heavily influence others, and if someone makes comments that are outside of mainstream boundaries, and I do ask questions from time to time to try to understand their perspective. So again, thanks for sharing.

You're very welcome :) I have nothing to hide so I have no problem sharing as I feel appropriate. So what if I had trouble with the Law with my stealing, weapons, vandalism, and numerous other violations (including one I didn't even do which cost me two years probation)? All these things shaped me into what I am today.

The divorce was hard. I took that very hard, and she turned absolutely evil when she left. A lot was at stake in that battle including a house and all it's possessions and two kids, not to mention $20,000 worth of debt and my income. I am very lucky I had a top notch lawyer, because she tried taking me for everything I was worth. I would be sorry to hear you had a similar background if I didn't stand firm in my belief that it shaped and moulded you into a far better person as a result.

I don't mind giving you my perspective. I believe it to be sound and based on fact. After studying as much as I did (and still do from time to time) I feel comfortable that what I am sharing with others is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I am controversial and also draw the ire of some because I am bold, blunt and straight to the point. I don't beat around the bush, I just tell it like it is. I also shake people's foundations because I convincingly (and justly so) challenge the very basis of their belief structure and challenge them to think outside the bun.

I know who I am. I believe in who I am. I feel comfortable in what I believe. And it is always a pleasure to share it with those that might find it helpful. I am glad you found what I had to say to be at least somewhat insightful.
