  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I jusst found out last week that I'm pregnant. From what I calculated (LMP), I'm 5 weeks along now. I scheduled a Dr. Appt. for 2/9/06 so we will see what he says. On a pregnancy test I had done (4 days before I found out) the dr said the numbers were very low so I could be very early in my pregnancy. Is it commen to get a possitive home pregnancy test result 3 days after your af supposed to start, This not using a special "First response" test but a normal, $ .99 test? I ask this b/c with my son (now 18 months old) I had to wait 2 weeks to test to get a positive. Every test till then was Neg.

Nearly all pregnancy tests should work the day after a missed period but depending on the woman/pregnancy it can take varying times to show up. You may have ovulated late with your DS and that's why it took you so long to get a positive.Congrats! When are you due?

the way that my doctor explained it to me was that you could have false negative, but almost never a false positive. she said that the only thing that would make the pregnancy test produce a positive result was the presence of the pregnancy hormone, but that there are several other reasons why it might say negative when you are, in fact, pregnant.

and how much you paid for the test doesn't necessarily matter if you got a positive result. the doctor's office will use the exact same kind, except there you'd pay much, much more for the same thing.
