I thought it would be fitting to sign out with some parting comments (not sure why or if anybody cares). Not upset by no means but just need to devote more time to family and study.
I feel God would have me pull up the anchor and move on or at least take a long and extended break. I made a commitment to go as far as the end of this year. I sought to accomplish three goals:
1. To listen and learn from others.
2. To see what others believed.
3. To present what I believed to be key issues and doctrines two especially:
a. Justification by the faith of Jesus Christ alone
b. 1611 AV as Gods inspired word
All the above were accomplished to some extent but time is up but since I made the commitment to God then I guess I should honor that (plus my wife is growing weary!!!). Probably didnt convince anybody of much but it was a pleasure never the less.
I enjoyed chatting with all. This is an interesting Forum, well regulated, and kudos to the owner and Webmaster for making posting a pleasure.
Ive been blessed, encouraged, hammered, challenged, and tested and all to the good. Being my last thread I will only seek to give some unsolicited advice to all if I may:
1. Make your calling and election sure for there is nothing more important.
2. Make sure you have a final authority without doubts in all matters of faith and practice.
This is my last thread but unfortunately for some I may still finish up a post or two that would need some responding to and then wrap it up.
And with that May God bless!
