Final Fantasy XI

Well, I finally got it (after totatlly redoing my ethernet on my comp, buying a base station to split the dsl connection, and spending two days with help of a techi friend hooking it up) and all I have to say is that it was alllllll worth it!

So is anyone else from here on the game? I'm still new at it, though getting better, and I'd love to discuss!

I don't have it but ive been thinking of checking it out. Currently im a bit caught up with a MMOFPS.What race and class are you? (Ive seen the game at a friends house so I know a little about it)

Elvaan Red Mage (only lvl 9 right now - but I only just got the game set up on Thurs)

I was always a fighter/thief kinda guy. Mages are too much trouble for me

red mages can fight with swords and use some blk and some wht magic. You can switch jobs in the game too, so I'm going to level up a theif skill next and then combine the two by sub-ing Theif onto RedMage in the same charecter
