Here, was another gracious and noble act. Her respect for him started to come back. She had thought the man willing to risk his life to save another had disappeared after his venom addiction, which had been replaced with that ravenous appetite for food.

She took heart that the captain truly was on the way to recovery. However, she was still wanting to hold @CtC accountable so sidled up and whispered 'when you have time please meet up with me and another christian. I would like very much to hear what happened.'

'Less, chatter back there' Said the charitable and considerate captain, rescuing @CtC once more for the time being. 'Man the decks. @Sam91 can you read the dials to me.'

'Aye aye captain, we are going NNW bearing ???° ???knots' (In other words in the correct direction at an ok speed. Nautical information is not my forte).

'We'll make a seawoman of you yet!' Said Cpt Firth.

'Land ahoy' said @*LILAC delightedly.

@Sam91's speech was still reverberating in the doctor's somewhat better-protected-than-most brain. She had even quoted from the KJV, so he presumed there was no trickery in interpretation of that verse. He hadn't realised he had been bashing the little @GreenWizard. He just thought that was what people did to leprechauns. @And Dirk1540... Well, the less said about that little episode, the better.

Fortunately, his ego - whether Grandly-Inflated, Much-Reduced or even Amoeba-Sized - was nowhere to be found.

'I'm sorry for my treatment of you, little green fellow,' apologised the doctor to the leprechaun. 'And Dirk, uhhhh... Let's just not talk about what happened ever again...' advised Doctor Sphinx.

'Land ahoy' shouted @*LILAC again, a little louder and more concerned this time.

'Doctor Sphinx! What are you doing?' bellowed the Captain @DavidFirth. 'Reduce speed at once!'

'Please slow down Sphinxy! Unless you are planning to get us stuck on this island? It might be dangerous' @Sam91 cried before fainting. [Good night all!]

'Grace be, where are we?' asked the captain, not having any idea where they were on the map.

'I don't think it matters Captain' uttered @*LILAC... 'it looks pretty enough.'

'I think it might' said @Doctor.Sphinx after spotting North Korean propaganda all over the walled beach. The posters of the leader everywhere. Very big brotherly.'

'But, Lady @*LILAC, do they have priests there?' asked the hopeful old salty dog of a captain.

'I wonder who this wonderful person is, gee, there are pictures of him everywhere. He must be a wonderful human being.' said the Captain. @Doctor.Sphinx shook his head and wondered if the ship could have really wandered up to North Korea. @Sam91 was freaking out. 'Maybe we should turn and head south,' she said.

She continued... 'Well @DavidFirth , captain. What are your orders, shall we visit a priest here? Or shall we travel somewhere else? The good news is that it is no longer a long voyage to another land? I'd like to at least smuggle in some spare Bibles and other literature into this suppressed country. But it would be perilous, we could even be martyred!' Her eyes brightening with enthusiasm

'Why, that's just what these people need! We will give them Bibles and a good meal and then we will be on our way. If the 'free' people live in this much poverty, I can only try to imagine how bad the prisons are,' said the captain.

 

[Sam91]

'Great! Although I hope that we don't get to experience N Korean prison firsthand. First things first we should consult each other and pray. It is fruitless if this is done of ourselves. But I think we should emulate Dr S and trash our ego, so we can walk in the Spirit not the flesh. Also, keep our wits about us like @Dirk1540 but I do not know how to pack up those. Ummm... infact, @Doctor.Sphinx in the holding cell you mentioned the armour of God.... could you give us further insight into that? We need all the armour we could get! Imagine how impervious that would be to the enemy's darts!'....

'Do we have a plan yet Captain?'

'Not yet. You have any suggestions or should we wait to hear what @Doctor.Sphinx thinks?'

'No way! We should wait upon the Lord instead'

The good doctor, sadly, was out of plans. He was still coming to terms with the loss of his bothersome ego, and, although gladdened by it's absence, wasn't sure exactly what to do or say.
