Feel free to read up on the early women's movement in the US.
Women could "do things," but they could not vote, could not hold property independent from their husband, and could not generally pursue the professions or university education (this depended somewhat upon local law).

Some men do indeed vote for abortion and gay marriage, but it was women's lib that instigated it. It's mostly women who push for these things, because women make decisions with their emotions.

People tend to vote their interests. I don't see what it has to do with emotion.

That's why Paul said it was Eve who was deceived by the serpent. God put men in charge to protect women from deception, not because men are more intelligent than women, but because Satan originally went after the woman to deceive her.

We might as well agree to disagree because it will just result in an endless debate. I don't see women being oppressed in the West and I don't believe that feminism is about equality. I believe it's main purpose, from doing lots of research, that it's main goal is to confuse gender roles and create a battle of the sexes.

This is factually incorrect. Women don't allow their emotions to lead them any more than men do. You are basing that on sexist presuppositions that have no basis in fact.

As for the garden of Eden - Adam ate the same fruit. It doesn't speak well for men's cognitive abilities if, when comparing Adam to Eve, you realize it took a higher being to deceive the woman. All it took to deceive the man was... a woman. That really doesn't show Adam in a favorable light at all.

We could take this further - for Eve to be deceived, the serpent had to reason with her and get her to puzzle through it logically. But when Adam came along, he apparently ate what his wife offered him without stopping to think through the potential consequences the way Eve did. Clearly, Adam was the one acting out of emotion instead of thinking in that scenario.

Do you know in a lot of places women are the only people worth giving money to to start businesses because the men will drink it all away? Men are obviously addiction-prone, and when they are not they are easily manipulated by women. Do you think people who are weak like that are really suited to hold authority over others?
