Good morning ya'll, I missed everyone yesterday. Had lots to do in preparation for my dads memorial service today. I wanted to say hello and thank ya'll so much for the beautiful pictures and stuff ya'll post for me. It really makes my day. Please pray for traveling mercies as we head to Fla. I hope everyone is richly blessed beyond measure in every way and everyday. God loves you and so do I.

Hey ya'll, oh it's so good to see ya'll. I wanted to thank ya'll again for your words of comfort during this time. I want to say that finally I feel a sense of peace and joy. We laid dad to rest on thursday and it was the most beautiful service I had ever seen. Those Marines were so beautiful and just so perfect in every way. I did not know what to expect at a memorial sevice given by Marines for World War 2 fighters. But from the beginning I was quite impressed. The gun salute was so awesome and when they played "Taps" I thought I was going to fall to the ground. It was beautiful. I was honored to receive my dad's flag and that moment, I will never forget. That Marine nelt down on one knee and looked into my eyes. I will never forget those blue eyes. They didn't even look real. And as he started speaking, everything around me went blank. I remembered hearing the words that my dad's flag was presented to me by the President of the United States and the United States Marine Corps. And at that point, I drifted into a whole other realm. It was the most awesome experience I have ever had.. I will never forget it. I feel a sense of joy and things can now move on. Thank you again for all of your prayers.


You are my precious friends and I will never forget any of you. I love you all.
