I got an email from Casting Crowns inviting me to sign up to win two tickets to the GMA Dove Awards the end of this month, but I'm not going to because I wouldn't have a chance of winning.

my mom used to sign up for all sorts of things and on rare occasions won. I have won a thing or two but rarely sign up mainly for one reason..... spam. If you sign up for things they want your info to sell to some other folks to later spam you with junk. give them a phone number and you will mysteriously later get calls..... an email address will be flooded with garbage.

Yes, that's right. We are giving away a trip for 2 to Nashville for the 40th Annual GMA DOVE Awards which will take place live at the Grand Ole Opry House on Thursday April 23. Dove Awards will be given away in 43 categories and for the first time ever fans have had the opportunity to vote for the winner of two of the biggest awards of the night. New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year. Artists performing at this year’s award show include Steven Curtis Chapman, Natalie Grant, Mary Mary, MercyMe, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Brandon Heath, Francesca Battistelli.
