I have my mother's day craft ready for jr church tomorrow.
I have dinner going and coffee for the morning.
I think I did fairly well.

Wow!! You did get a lot done. Is your dining room table a catchall? My kitchen counter is. I tell these folks around here if I can't see the counter, I ain't cooking. It gets cleaned off pretty fast.

Wow!! You did get a lot done. Is your dining room table a catchall? My kitchen counter is. I tell these folks around here if I can't see the counter, I ain't cooking. It gets cleaned off pretty fast.

Usually it's the catchall for all of my quilting stuff. It became a catch all for my school/teaching stuff as well.
I was getting overwhelmed with stuff.
I hate cooking in a cluttered kitchen or on a dirty stove.

Oh my gosh, that's how I am. If I'm going to cook, I need the kitchen clean. I'll clean everything and then start cooking. I don't have a dishwasher either...well, except David

He doesn't mind. He gets fed good I've cooked him stuff he's never heard of. Now all I need to do is get him to like seafood.

We're so alike it's like we were separated at birth or something.
I don't have a dishwasher either. Well ... I do but it's broke. I don't have the money to fix it and it wasn't me who broke it. It was one of my lovely children. So, they get to wash the dishes by hand until I either get a new one or get this one fixed. I'll wash them once or twice a week to give them a break.
Now my dishwasher serves as a big dish rack

We're so alike it's like we were separated at birth or something.
I don't have a dishwasher either. Well ... I do but it's broke. I don't have the money to fix it and it wasn't me who broke it. It was one of my lovely children. So, they get to wash the dishes by hand until I either get a new one or get this one fixed. I'll wash them once or twice a week to give them a break.

Oh man, the dentist yesterday asked me if I had any kids. When she pulled the stuff out of my mouth I could answer her and I told her the girls ages and then told her I had a 20 month old grandson. She said...Wow, you must have had your kids young. I said, not really, I'll be 50 later this year. She said she hoped she'd look that good at 50 and then she gave me a huge laugh...she asked if I exercised. I really did lol. I said, nope, work in a hardware store. I was flattered

You know, I almost said "we're so alike it's scary", but I back spaced it now I am scared ... j/k
I don't mind washing dishes by hand. Truth be known I prefer it. I might get it fixed right before we sell the house, if I ever sell it. Or, if and when I remodel the kitchen.

I'm chatting in so many threads, I lose track of where I've been. It's mandatory continuing legal education. But you know about continuing ed too, so I'm preaching to the choir.
