I would think so. But scripture is silent on it.
In John 7:3-5 it shows him (James) to be a non believer during Christ's ministry,
7:3 So Jesus’ brothers advised him, “Leave here and go to Judea so your disciples may see your miracles that you are performing. 7:4 For no one who seeks to make a reputation for himself does anything in secret. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.” 7:5 (For not even his own brothers believed in him.)[/QUOTE]
Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
but in I Cor 15:7 it shows him to be a believer.
He is numbered with those in Acts 1:14, so I (and just my opinion) believe it probably was the result of the post Resurrection appearance.
1:14 All these continued together in prayer with one mind, together with the women, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers
Otherwise, yeah, scripture is pretty silent about it. Lol, I'm trying to remember from our class last semester. We went over James pretty quick.
and, I'll be quiet now.![]()
