CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah i am going to a college affiliated with my church, the crazy part is...it is in Oklahoma City...which is 8 hours away from here...and well I am in a little town of about 2,00 people in SE Missouri....adjusting to big city life will be tough ...but it is a small tight-knit campus so I'll manage

Sounds great! Working at a Christian job just seems so awesome, to be able to get paid to work for the Lord! (of course everyone who work can glorify God through it and work hartily for God and be witnesses) But yea, I've lived in Jersey all my life; don't worry, us city-folk aren't THAT bad.

lol yeah I'm not all that worried about the transition to OKC...I know people who are out there and my closest friend is going out there to college w/me...so it won't be bad. Plus if times get tough and dark, I have no reason to worry, I got my faith...

Well there you go! What more could you possibly need? I'm taking courses while living at home this fall, but I always thought that going away for college would be best...I feel His calling to live at home for now, and it's a bit cheeper while still taking the same courses, so I'm happy with whatever I've been given.
