I am doing great - it is Friday, we are going to have a 3 day weekend and I am feeling VICTORY IN JESUS!!

a tad on the cold side - supposed to get to 0 tomorrow, so I'll just stay inside as much as possible - maybe light a fire in the fireplace

my grandboys are coming to spend the night - I love having them (they're so darn funny). Oh, and Hannah has a 3 day weekend at the university, so she'll come home tonight too

we'll probably go to dinner somewhere tonight - then I got fixings for a pancake breakfast in the morning (although I did forget bacon - remembered blueberries and forgot bacon - what was I thinking cause they have to have bacon)

not sure what else we'll do tomorrow - but we'll think of something - bless their hearts, they even like to help clean at my house

other than being pretty darn cold (we're in the midst of an arctic blast)

it's been great

My daughter is home through tomorrow We watched a couple of movies the past couple days (Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Hairspray)

Had a great visit with the grandboys yesterday (the first thing Luke did when he woke up was give me a hug & kiss - what a nice thing to wake up to).

Last night my pastor & his wife came to dinner along with a visiting pastor (along with his wife and daughter). We had a great visit.

Lord's day services were really nice - Pastor Rich (the visiting pastor) gave a great sermon on Titus 3:4-7. Then we had a pot-luck and something that's become a habit of ours whenever we have a guest speaker - a question and answer session. Nothing like putting the visiting pastor on the spot

Too cold this afternoon to do much of anything - so I took a nap.

Now I'm watching Green Bay football

All in all a very nice weekend

yes - the 3 day weekend is for Martin Luther Jr day
we went to the International Auto Show in Detroit yesterday and I got so tired of walking that when a young lady asked if I would like to donate blood, I grabbed the chance! LOL!! (actually, I'm working on my 3rd gallon pin)
our pastor came back from the Mayo clinic and needs a bone marrow donor. I'm going to find out how much the test is and try to pay for others to get tested along with me.

We love the Detroit Auto Show at my house - I haven't made it there for a couple of years (my husband and daughter have gone together a couple of times). I wonder if DH is off next Sunday - maybe we could go then.

The giants just scored - but yes I think that GB will pull it out.

And you're right - no one is interested in a Giants/Pats superbowl.

Personally - I don't want to see the Pats there at all - but that's no longer an option.

Be cool for them to win the SB if only for the historical factor~most SBs of the past dozen years have been less than historical. A perfect season is something people will be talking about 20 years from now, unlike most of these yawners...

Don't care much about either team who made it to the SB - so very well may not watch it - I'm sure someone will be playing hockey that night.

I have spent the past half hour scooping water out of floods in the road in order to flush the toilet!!
Our water has been cut off due to flooding.
And the advertised public water supplies have not turned up...
