• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This is one of my early sketches or ink drawings. I hope the picture encourages you.

That's me as a little girl sitting on the front steps of my porch looking sad and lonely. Of course, that's Jesus holding out His arms to a frightened Amy. If you are unable to read what they are saying I posted the words:

Upper left hand corner near eye: "Where are you mommy, daddy? I am scared! Please hold me!"

Jesus is saying: "Ah dear Father, see! The poor little child has been left alone. How I long to wipe away her tears and hold her close to My heart. Child! Child! Athough thy mother and father forsake thee ~ I will not!"

Ever feel like a lost, frightened child? I know I do...

But the caption reads on the right near Jesus: "Jesus was there at the very beginning."

AND He always will be!

kisstheson,

That is such a beautuful picture! It almost brought a tear to my eye. I loved the way you illustrated Jesus' neverending love for us. He loved us before we were born:amen: and he will always love us, after we're gone from this Earth and up in Heaven with Him.
That's is an important message young people need to hear today, that no matter what their earthly mother and father does to them during this life, that our Lord Jesus, is always there for us and we have a Loving Father who will always be there to wipe aay our tears and hold us  .
God Bless you for your wondeful artisitic abilities and beautful creativity and thoughtfulness for sharing your gift to us.

All for Jesus to draw others to Him! I believe I saw Him with the eyes of my soul tonight. He was crying for hurting people. He cares so much.

Thank you for your encouraging words.
