Feeling really exhausted...

I've been to doctors and they haven't found anything wrong with me. But over the last 5 years my energy has slowly gone down. I can barely walk up and down the hill near my house now.

I have 3 disabilities and the state recognizes me as disabled, but the federal government does not.

I've been helping my father to do home improvements and yard work in exchange for helping me out financially. That said I have to go back to work now and don't think I can survive in an 8 hour a day job. So I've been looking into work from home jobs, and I'm finding that most of them are con jobs.

I'm starting to think my fatigue is coming from stress, so I think I should just realize that God is in charge and I need to just relax and do my part.

Anyways any advice and prayers are appreciated. I'm really looking for enlightenment on this subject, thanks.

Stress can make you tired. I know the feeling. Or maybe your working so much it's b/c of that. Do you talk to a doctor about this?

Praying for you brother. Have you had a physical recently? Hormonal/chemical imbalance or other physical defects can sap energy levels. Depending on your physical your doc may have some therapies for you like lean meat/low carb diet etc. I was told to exercise more and take in more antioxidants. Peace in Christ.

Thanks, Yes and they ran all kinds of tests, the only thing that came up was blood sugar was slightly elevated but not diabetic. I also had low vitamin D, so I started taking vitamin D and my energy went up for a couple weeks but then deteriorated again.

You may also want to consult a nutrionist (if that's not your doctor's specialty). Nothing like a solid diet to boost your metabolism. There are a lot of online forums that may help you for free as well.

My doctor suggested one but I didn't go because I thought my problem was related to my cystic fibrosis. I have a rare form of it and the doctors are unsure what medical problems it will cause. I did start eating vegetables though I'll look online.

10 Years as an AutoCAD and Solidworks designer/drafter. I'm looking for a job doing that, but I've been temporarily disabled for around 10 years and out of work for that time. I did only about 8 hours a week during that time.

Adrenal weakness and thyroid weakness - which frequently go together - will cause big time fatigue but they are frequently misdiagnosed or pooh poohed. You might want to check out the symptoms. On stopthethyroidmadness.com there is an informal test with a flashlight into your eyes. Some of the symptoms of low thyroid are thinning outer eyebrows, cold hands and feet, depression and dry skin.

I pray you get whatever medical and/or alternative health helps the Father knows are right for you.

How's your sleep going? Do you sleep well? ie 6 hours or so without waking up etc.

I was sleeping for 6 hours at a time, but recently I've been getting my hours back on track for a 9-5 job. So now I'm sleeping 8 hrs.

I have good days where I have normal energy levels and then bad days where I have trouble.
