Feeling bad

I told a lot of lies in the past and I have told my brother about this. I have told him about stories I made up and have been pretty clear. He asked me today if people really called me a particular nickname out of nowhere and I said yes they did (which was the truth) but then I said something like ''why do you always ask me this''? I just get tired of of being reminded of the past. Should I tell him again, yes I told a lot of lies? I shouldn't have been defensive about it but I dwell on sin & end up feeling horrible about it for days. Will God forgive me?

Hi Jeremy,yes God will forgive you,he forgives all of his children in the world,I'm praying for you,all you need to do is pray.

As long as no one is suffering from your lies you can rest easy. I think if there were some ones which caused harm then maybe you could seek the advice of a mature cchristian like a Pastor or maybe a Chaplain on here as to of you need to do anything to help that person or leave it.

Of course.
God has used the wrongs that others have committed against me to bless me, chamge me, give me skills and even to drive me closer to Him.

Jesus Christ is forgiveness. Yes he will forgive you. We have all committed a variety of sins that we can't make up to the person but the Lord forgives us. I would try and pray that the Lord take away all false condemnation and burden from you so that you have a clear conscience. It may be that there are some things in the past you need to address or it may not be. I agree that maybe trying to find someone like a pastor for some of these that continue to bother you would be wise.

Yes, Jesus does forgive you of all wrong you have done.

At the Cross He bore all of our sins. We may not feel it, but our feelings are not what we need to rely on.

We must rely (put our complete faith in) what He has said in His Word.

May forgiveness before Him bring Peace to your heart and mind.
