Feeling an instant wisdom with God's word?

I'm growing in my faith and I feel myself getting stronger with God. Today I asked God to send down the Holy Spirit so that I could read the bible the way He wanted me too and I could see the message he wanted me to see. I've also started writing down my responses to the scriptures I read.

Today it was John 2:8-11 & John 2:18-21...

After writing down these scriptures I felt an immediate "wisdom" or something... I felt stronger with my faith. I also asked the God cast out whatever demon has been plaguing me with doubt about my God.

Have any of you felt this way before? I feel so energized and renewed. It's a good feeling.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

That's great. It's encouraging, isn't it!

Sometimes we imagine we are in this on our own, trying to please God -- and then He steps in and reminds us He's there to help and walk with us. He asks for a more interactive relationship and sometimes we resist out of caution.

His Holy Spirit dwells within us.

I love that humble feeling of learning what God is, and what he wants , I love to contemplate that God is a good God and Jesus Christ is Messiah... God anointed him to save us all and he did marvelous I think, such reflection gives a ready sense of truth. Jesus Christ really is an amazing savior and the spirit of wisdom is one of the seven spirits of the Lord?

I'm not sure if you meant to ask a question there but I'll answer it just in case. Theologians trying to uncover the meaning of Revelation 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; and 5:6. Have appealed to Isaiah 11:2 as a possible explanation.

If you think about it however there's only really 6 spirits listed there and an overall summation.

The bible falls into categories of many different literary genres. Revelation uses an apocalyptic literary style. It's a very symbolic style and usually when it refers to the number seven, it's their way of saying infinity. Or completeness.

What you experienced is what I call a lightbulb moment, what you are learning goes from your head to your heart and you see it clearly for the first time. Amen for you, its just the beginning of many lightbulb moments..

You know what is really awesome, is that God didn't have to send down the Holy Spirit at all. He (the Holy Spirit) was with you and is with you right now, with your spirit, sitting in the same place you are.

I mean, think about that. The God of the universe, who created everything and is eternal and bigger and more awesome than we can understand, is inside of you and I, right here with us. And the best part, is that He is here to help us, to guide us, to strengthen us, to give us understanding of God's word and many other things.

Wow. It gives me chills. Praise you Father! You alone are holy, you alone are mighty, our God is greater than anything that can come against us, Amen.

In Matthew 22: 35-40: Jesus tells a Lawyer: " The first and great Commandment is: " Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is: Love thy neighbour as thyself." Then Jesus
points out: " On these two Commandments, hang all the Law and the Prophets." God is Love, and God wants our Love, freely given and NO conditions asked. Keep on doing this, and God knows that you Love God.
Jesus will give you His Love and Joy, and the Holy Spirit will empower you
with His Love also. Jesus told us: " Ask and ye shall receive," then thank God and share all Love and Joy with your neighbour: all you know and all you meet, all you advise and all you stand for. Keep asking God and thanking God, and share all Love and Joy with God our Heavenly Father, and our brothers and sisters. ( Matthew 7: 7-8: ) Jesus will help and guide you, and Jesus will lead you all the way: JESUS IS THE WAY. You might stumble and forget, but then ask God to forgive you, and carry on Loving and Caring.
A Christian`s great weapon is Love, Love will overcome all enmity, and Love is a great sign-post to God. What a beautiful testimony. keep praying for understanding and keep reading. You will grow in the Lord. That is such a beautiful, peaceful feeling when the Holy Spirit opens your understanding to the scriptures. Don't be surprised when you read the same verses again and the Holy Spirit reveals something else to you. Being a Christian is awesome and reading the Bible is exciting.
