You're citing Christiana Bobb (formerly with OAN), the same lawyer who suggested the FBI planted evidence? ^_^
What you think someone "suggested" does not alter the facts. The DOJ has been ordered to release the warrant and from everything I read the DOJ has not yet obeyed the order of the federal court.

Source? [....it's not too late to start backing up the numerous assertions you make]

My, my, my :doh:this thread is a perfect example of evidence, even law, being presented, and still, some people are so involved with Trump and all his lies that they can't accept facts.
Trump has the warrant and the inventory list of what was taken.
He can release it to his faithful followers any time he chooses to.

the attorney asked to SEE a copy of the warrant. They initially would not let the attorney SEE the warrant. But when they eventually let the attorney SEE the warrant they REFUSED to provide a copy.
This clip from Attorney General Garland's press conference today will show that the warrant and an inventory of what was taken was indeed given at the time the warrant was executed (50 second mark). Also, the Justice Department has requested the court unseal the search warrant.

Thanks for posting this video. Excellent, now we know that the DOJ will be releasing the warrant and the inventory list and that Trump got copies right away.

Do you think Trump will try to beat the DOJ to the punch?

It is now up to the Trump appointed judge.

False. All he claimed was "on the day of search." As was reported, they first refused to let Trump's attorney even look at the warrant. Eventually, after some talk by the attorney, they let the attorney LOOK at the warrant but refused to provide a copy. People were outraged. We don't know when during the day a warrant was eventually provided. They should be prosecuted for not immediately providing the warrant. As I also reported, the judge ordered the DOJ to make the warrant public.

Oh sure, let's prosecute based on Valletta's requirements. Do you ever read what you write?
And you have yet to source the alleged order to the DOJ.

Even Christina Bobb said she received a copy. Her recollection of events seems to bounce all over the place.

Christina Bobb, a lawyer and aide to Mr. Trump who said she received a copy of the search warrant, told one interviewer that the agents were looking for “presidential records or any possibly classified material.”

They should be prosecuted for not immediately providing the warrant.
Do you really believe the FBI would fail to present a warrant at the time of its execution when it's being served at a property owned by a former president? There's no way they would risk violating federal law in a case as sensitive as this.

People were outraged.
Only people who get their news from right-wing sources that tend to distort facts to get a rise out of their readers and viewers.

As I also reported, the judge ordered the DOJ to make the warrant public.
No, a judge requested that the DOJ respond to the requests made by media and Judicial Watch to make the warrant public, which Attorney General Garland did today. He requested a court to unseal it. He doesn't have the power to unseal it himself and while I doubt the courts will turn his request down, there's still the chance that Trump will file a motion to block it.

Quibble, my understanding is that the DOJ asked the Judge to release the warrant info as it is the judge that actually issues the warrant. Normally the judge will keep the warrant confidential so as to avoid appearances of impropriety, but this isn't normally.

Trump's attorney said she received it one of her interviews, and the Attorney General said it was provided. Sounds like everyone's in agreement.

Well if you haven't realized by now, Trump's attorneys are not a reliable source of information.
In fact they are often Kraken.

UNITED STATES’ MOTION TO UNSEAL LIMITED WARRANT MATERIALS

On August 8, 2022, the Department of Justice executed a search warrant, issued by this Court upon the requisite finding of probable cause, see Fed. R. Crim. P. 41(c)(1)-(2), at the premises located at 1100 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, Florida 33480, a property of former President Donald J. Trump.

At the time the warrant was initially executed, the Department provided notice directly to former President Trump’s counsel. The Department did not make any public statements about the search, and the search apparently attracted little or no public attention as it was taking place. Later that same day, former President Trump issued a public statement acknowledging the execution of the warrant.

In the days since, the search warrant and related materials have been the subject of significant interest and attention from news media organizations and other entities.

In these circumstances involving a search of the residence of a former President, the government hereby requests that the Court unseal the Notice of Filing and its attachment (Docket Entry 17), absent objection by former President Trump. The attachment to that Notice consists of:

• The search warrant signed and approved by the Court on August 5, 2022, including Attachments A and B; and Case 9:22-mj-08332-BER Document 18 Entered on FLSD Docket 08/11/2022

• The redacted Property Receipt listing items seized pursuant to the search, filed with the Court on August 11, 2022.

The government will respond to the direction of the Court to provide further briefing as to additional entries on the docket, pursuant to the schedule set by the Court. Consistent with standard practice in this Court, the search warrant and attachments were each filed under seal in Case No. 22-mj-8332-BER prior to the search; the Property Receipt was filed under seal today.

Former President Trump, through counsel, was provided copies of each of these documents on August 8, 2022, as part of the execution of the search.

Do you have proof that no copy has yet been given?

People were outraged.
Die-hard MAGA fans were outraged, you mean.

We don't know when during the day a warrant was eventually provided.
And so all this bees-in-bonnet excitement is over a few hours delay?

They should be prosecuted for not immediately providing the warrant.
Are you sure it was not provided to some representative of Trump immediately?

As I also reported, the judge ordered the DOJ to make the warrant public.
No, that's not what the judge ordered. The judge ordered the DOJ to respond with reasons for not making the warrant public or make it public.

By law, the officers carrying out the warrant are required to leave a physical copy of the warrant and inventory of everything they took from the premises. It can either be given to the owner of the premises, a representative of the owner, or if no one is available at the time the warrant is carried out, it can be left at a location on the property where it can easily be seen and found by the owner.
The full text of the relevant rule was posted up thread, and it explicitly allows for electronic service of the warrant.

That's for when a computer or other electronic storage device is being remotely accessed. Search of physical property requires a physical warrant.

Receipt. The officer executing the warrant must give a copy of the warrant and a receipt for the property taken to the person from whom, or from whose premises, the property was taken or leave a copy of the warrant and receipt at the place where the officer took the property. For a warrant to use remote access to search electronic storage media and seize or copy electronically stored information, the officer must make reasonable efforts to serve a copy of the warrant and receipt on the person whose property was searched or who possessed the information that was seized or copied. Service may be accomplished by any means, including electronic means, reasonably calculated to reach that person.

False. As per my previous point we know no such thing.
We do now, The DOJ has requested that the judge allow the warrant to be made public unless Donald objects by 3PM tomorrow.
