I finally figured out why our server goes under a few times a day.
It's because of our free CF homepage domain names - www.erwin.christianforums.com - search engine spiders treat each of these as a new website, and put a lot of stress on CF's server when they try to spider them.
As a result, I have had to remove this option from CF.
From now on, only these URLs will work for your CF homepage:
www.christianforums.com/~Erwin
OR
christianforums.com/~Erwin
My apologies for any inconvenience. This does not affect your CF homepages - just the URL.
You should notice that CF goes a whole lot faster now. We are still awaiting a RAM upgrade.
