CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It wasn't much of a conversation. But we accomplished our goals in the conversation, I guess. There's a lot I couldn't ask and now I'll probably never know. But I can live with that.

I think I can sense what went on here. You're right on the scripture from Job. God has bigger and better things for you. That doesn't mean that what you are going through now with your loss isn't hard or should be dismissed, but it should at least give you some hope to keep going.

I know your conversation is over but if fear was there it can still come up again so take your stand and never again let the enemy put a yoke of slavery on you! To overcome a fear you must do it afraid. Its hard but so worth it and God will be with you every step of the way.
