Are there are Fear Factory fans here? If you guys didnt' already know, Dino kind of got kicked out of the band by default so now Chris, Burt, and Ray are recording FF's 5th album with Christian doing the guitars! The bassist from Strapping Young Lad is going to be the new FF bassist so they say. I have a funny feeling this will be an awesome FF record, although I don't know how well Christian can weild a guitar!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really like the Obsolete album. I was under the impression that the band had completely split up after Digimortal, so this is news to me. I'm interested to see what the new arrangement sounds like, but I'm afraid it won't be the same without Dino and his hot-rodded Ibanez 7-string.

I really don't know how it is gonna be, but I have a feeling it will be more groove oriented, because Christian is deep into hip hop, I will be upset if there is another song with B-Real on it though.. BTFU wasn't a bad song but it just kind of stuck out like a sore thumb around songs about futuristic dooms days...

I dont listen to them but a friends older brother did.. I heard also that they broke up. I do enjoy that "LinchPin" song prob cause that was the only one ever played on the radio
