  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's your favourite tea flavour or brand? I used to drink black tea but now I just drink green tea or infusions. My favourite right now is an infusion which I bought when I was in London in August, and it's Twining's Honey, Camomile and Vanilla. I love the smell of it  I always put a little milk in my tea too.

My least favourite is Earl Grey or some other kind of strong black tea

Tea, my specialty. My family owns a tea room so I know more about tea than I probably ever wanted to know. We have an Earl Grey that is simply fabulous, probably one of my favorites. Over the summer, we had a really good Green Strawberry Hibiscus tea that was a hit, so I'm trying some other flavors out for winter. Here in TX, most people prefer the flavored teas, rather than the traditional Darjeelings or Earl Grey etc. I think my least favorite would have to be white teas, they just don't do anything for me.

I usually prefer plain ol' Lipton, which I guess is a blend of orange pekoe and pekoe cut black. My second favorite is peach green tea. I also like Earl Grey.

My wife really loves camomille and Earl Grey. In fact, she gave up coffee for Earl Grey. (I'll never give up my coffee!!)

Under Christian Clubs we have a Tea Lover's Club....come fill it up! My favourite teas vary with my moods....no one particular one.

I went there! I love French Vanilla, and there's this great autumn apple cinnamon tea that just flings you back into fall...

I love jasmine tea- its really light and floral.

In Aus, drinking tea is a major pastime (I think we inherited from the English), and one of my friends drinks up to 6 cups a day. Lipton is a popular brand here, and Bushells. We also get Twinings, which I think is imported from England- they have some nice varieties like Lady Grey and Russian Caravan.

Recently, new 'innovations' have also been popping up, like 'cookies and cream tea'- very very strange.
