  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My favourite...

...Green tea: Jasmine!:yum:
...Black tea: Assam Golden:yum:

also, adding sugar or/and milk to tea is A CRIME!

(Tea bags, don't really count as tea, tastes to awful... and for a tea to be a tea it has to have actual tea leaves in it, so "black currant tea" is NOT a tea, but an infusion, unless it referes to real teas that has been flavoured with black currant :preach: )

I agree, I only add stevia :) (Whcih is sometimes included anyway.) Actually, sometimes I add a packet of saccharin if I'm in a restaurant and forgot my stevia, it's the only artificial sweetener that I think it not absolutely horrible. I tried adding some rice milk ones but it just didn't feel right You sound like a real tea afficianado.

Not sure about stevia (don't know what it is), but to sweeten the tea at all...

:p I happen to like tea, a lot!

What's your favourite tea flavour or brand? I used to drink black tea but now I just drink green tea or infusions. My favourite right now is an infusion which I bought when I was in London in August, and it's Twining's Honey, Camomile and Vanilla. I love the smell of it  I always put a little milk in my tea too.

My least favourite is Earl Grey or some other kind of strong black tea
Mint!

Being a true Star Trek fan I had to try Earl Grey. And I discoved I love it. I have another favourite but I don't know what kind it is. My grandmother used to make it from some sort of tea leaves she grew herself. I have asked many family members what it was but no one seems to know. The tea she made had sort of a mint flavor to it. If any of you know what it might be I would love to find out.

Oh, oh, I think I know which one you mean. Argh, I just can't remember the name for it...

 Now that you mention it it did have slight taste of eucapyptus. I forgot about that. I haven't had it since my grandma passed away when I was 13. If you can remember what it is I would be thankful.

We had that teaplant too, I remember the taste. But I was only 7 - 9 years, and I remember that I hated that tea, heh, it had a too strong taste. Now I miss it though.
How frustrating... I can't remember the name. I think it has a chinese name.
