We just sang a Taize style song at Church this morning - Bless the Lord my Soul.

Bless the Lord my Soul
And bless God's Holy Name
Bless the Lord my Soul
Who leads me into Life

It is soo simple, but extremely reflective and meditative. We don't normally sing stuff like that, but it was very beautiful in 4-part harmony.

My Redeemer Lives? - would that line be "I'm dancing on this mountaintop to see Your kingdom come"? It's not so weird... it's basically singing here I am Lord, You raise me up from the valley and in my trails, I'll sing your praise as Your kingdom unfolds here on earth...

As for Rain, the song in question might be "let it rain/open the floodgates of heaven?"

One I am really warming to is I Saw The Light - this is actually an older song, written in the forties... and David Crowder has redone it on his new album - it's so infectious I just love it! Praise the Lord, I saw the Light!!! :amen:

That's a shame, it is so infectious and I think it's a great song! A real barndance hoedown! It's such a shame also here in the cities of Australia we can't appreciate hillbilly music... I am fast developing a fondness for it! :D
