CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Okay time for some minor forum necromancy! (its only 3 pages, not too bad...)
I am a bit of an obsessive fan, and I like a bunch, here is my list:
1.) Full metal Alchemist - I love this show, to the extent that I watched the whole thing in japanese and own Ed's jacket... I am a sad sad being.
2.) Fooly Cooly (Furi Kuri) - Second only to FMA, FLCL is in my opinion one of the most underrated shows out there, It may seem silly, but there is a deep story in there, and it has the BEST combat ever xD
3.) Yakitate Japan! - Its an anime about baking, how can I not like it?
4.) Bleach - I think bleach is slipping, but I still find it fun, a generally good show!
5.) Ghost in the shell (and stand alone complex): A great show that investigates the ever blurring line that defines humanity.

7.) Naruto - I actually gave up on this show around episode 150, but the earky stuff is great! The translation is sub-par though.
8.) Trigun - Just a fun and imaginitive show, I love the setting, and its plot its pretty good.
9.) Galaxy Angels - This I am ashamed of, but its so funny!
10.) Outlaw Star - The show that introdced me to anime. In retrospect not particularly great, but I have to give it props for introducing me to the genra!
