Favorite versions.

I am curious about which versions of The Bible people here use ? For me, The NASB updated is the best translation, and the one I use the most. I do own several other versions, but only use them to clarify something in The NASB. I use God's Word version, The CEV and NLT for that.

I too use NASB as my primary. But I use most of them when studying...it is so easy to use sites like biblegateway.com, blueletterbible, and many others to parallel versions to see what each say.

NASB is normally first for me as well, followed by these translations and paraphrases: NIV, NKJV, AV, ESV, AV, HCSB, NLT, NET, RSV & GWT, NCV

I like the New Jerusalem Bible best, followed by the updated 1971 edition of the Revised Standard Version. I use the old NIV.
