its strange how much the topic of marriage has been popping up for me these last few weeks.

even last night, i saw a really great quote about marriage from Mark Driscoll that I loved because it engenders my entire philosophy about marriage, and a friend posted that quote^^ as a response, and we started discussing how marriage enables a person to be more like Christ. Its amazing actually.

All I can say is that I feel free. I have never been in any relationship before so I do not know what that would be like.

Some good things about being single are that I do not have to worry about pleasing anyone except God, and that I can devote more time into helping others. I really feel happy the way that I am, but whatever God wants for my life, whether marriage or singleness I believe that I would be happy either way.

Being able to fill your cabinets and fridge with stuff that you like.
Not having to look at someone elses things in the bathroom in your way
being able to come and go as you please 24/7
not having to wait for someone whenever you are in an energetic mood and not having to hurry up when you just want to waste time somewhere
able to watch a movie through to the end without an interruption.
being able to either stay after church and talk for awhile or leave in the middle of service if the sermon doesn't interest you at all (usually marriage/kids related)
