Old Glory Robot Insurance. This sketch was so incredibly brilliant (though of course short, since it was just one of those commercial things that they do.)

"When you're in the grip of the cold metal claws of a robot, you can't escape, because their hands are made of metal, and robots are strong."

"It's a friendly robot" stares warningly at the camera "This time".

"People who deny the existence of robots may be robots themselves."

I really liked the sketch where Jim Carrey played a lifeguard of a hottub LOL:D

The Spartan Cheerleaders were always my favorite, though:thumbsup:

I also liked the "Delicious Dish" skits, Molly Shannon as "Mary Katherine Gallagher" and the "Jeopardy" skits.

I haven't watched SNL in a few years, though... just doesn't appeal to me anymore. And I can't STAND Jimmy Fallon...he's enough to make me avoid the whole show completely.

But I LOVE me some Mad TV!

Chris Farley - Down by the River
Chris Farley - da Bears
Will Ferrell - Celebrity Jeopardy
Will Ferrell - VH1 "Don't fear the Reaper" w/Christopher Walkin - "I need more cowbell!"
Will Ferrell- "Strategery" and playing Scrabble "Compassionativity" and "Dignitude"
Darrel Hammond - so many...Bill Clinton and Al Gore
Seth Meyers - as John Kerry

I loved a lot of Jimmy Fallon's too, but I can't remember anything specific.

Did anyone catch Will Farrel as guest saturday? He came on stage during Queens of the Stone Age's set and did Gene from the Blue Oyster Cult cowbell - thing. Hi-larious.
My friend told me about that, said he fell off his chair laughing.

The Celebrity Jeopardies
All the Harry Carey sketches

Also, I'm having trouble remembering the details of one of the sketches. It was the very first part of the show (before they say "Live, from New York...") and it was Dana Carvy (I think) being a host of one of those political round table shows (CNN style). He would be discussing issues with 4-7 other people. First he would ask a question, then would give them 3 seconds to respond and invariably shout "WRONG!!!" in their face. Did I dream this up, or did I really see this. Help would be appreciated.

I also think inside of us, we have a "Debbie Downer" where you may want to bring up topics of death, disease, and destruction because at times I felt as though I want to be a Debbie Downer on "purpose" and rain on peoples parades just to embarrass them.
