An old hymn my late father sang and which I love is 'It is well with my soul' and a very recent one - don't know if it would be classed as a hymn or a Christian song - is 'Bless the Lord, oh my soul'.

Not either of these, but I loved Andrae Crouch's singing when he was alive - I heard him in Belfast many years ago - a wonderful experience.

I'm not a religious person, but I like this one. We played it in my 6th grade band class. It's an Anglican hymn that is always associated with the Titanic, but was probably not the last song played by the band. This melody to this version, which is most familiar, is American. And was composed in my home town by Lowell Mason. The true British version has a different tune.

And they are definitely praising God/Jesus.
