Chorus 1
And you won't leave here
Like you came in Jesus' name
Bound oppressed tormented
Sick or lame
'Cause the Holy Ghost of Acts
Is still the same
You won't leave here
Like you came in Jesus' name

Verse 1
The Spirit of the Lord is on me
To preach the Gospel to the poor
To heal the sick to set the captive free
The Spirit of the Lord is on me

Verse 2
God's anointed me to preach and teach
He confirms the Word consistently
Signs and wonders follow faithfully
God's anointed me to preach and teach

Verse 3
God wrought special miracles by Paul
And through Paul's hands the power was passed on
God anoints whomever that He please
And He's chosen the tongue and pen of me

<B>When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blessed assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

What tremendous hymns these are!

Here's another one!

'PRAISE YOU,LORD,
For the wonder of Your healing.
Praise You,Lord,
For Your love so freely given;
Outpouring,annointing,
Flowing in to heal our wounds:
Praise You Lord,for Your love for me.

Praise You,Lord,
For Your gift of liberation.
Praise You,Lord,
You have set the captives free;
The chains that bind are broken
By the sharpness of Your sword;
Praise You,Lord,You gave Your life for me.

Praise You,Lord,
You have bourne the depths of sorrow.
Praise You,Lord,
For Your anguish on the tree;
The nails that tore Your body
And the pain that tore Your soul;
Praise You,Lord,Your tears they fell for me.

Praise You,Lord,
You have turned our thorns to roses.
Glory,Lord,
As they bloom upon Your brow;
The path of pain is hallowed,
For Your love has made it sweet;
Praise You,Lord and may I love You now'.

Verse 1
I'm kind of homesick for a country
to I've never been before.
No sad goodbyes will there be spoken
for time won't matter any-more.

Chorus:
Beulah Land, I'm longing for you
and some day on thee I'll stand.
There my home shall be eternal.
Beulah Land -- Sweet Beulah Land

Verse 2
I'm looking now across the river
where my faith will end in sight.
There's just a few more days to labor.
Then I will take my heavenly flight.

My favorite hymn of all times!

The Love of God

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell

The guilty pair, bowed down with care
God gave His Son to win
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin

Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade

To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints' and angels' song
:amen:

Another favorite!

Oh What a Savior!

Once I was straying in sin's dark valley,
No hope within could I see,
I searched Thru heaven and found a Savior,
To save a poor lost sould like me

Chorus

Oh what a Savior! Oh Hallelujah
His heart was broken on Calvary,
HIs hands we nail scared: His side was riven,
He gave his life blood for you and me

He left the Father, with all his riches,
With calmess sweet and serene,
Came down from heaven and gave his life blood
To make the vilest sinner clean.

Chorus

Death's chilly waters I'll soon be crossing,
His hands will lead me safe o're
I'll join the chorus in that great city,
And sing up there for ever more

1. Master, Redeemer, Savior of the world.
Wonderful, Counselor, Bright Morning Star.
Lily of the valley, Provider, and Friend,
He was yesterday, He'll be tomorrow, Beginning and End.

CHORUS:
But the angel called Him Jesus, born of a virgin.
Mary called Him Jesus, but I call Him Lord.

2. Jehovah, Messiah, Mighty God and King.
Bread of Life, lasting words of love that I sing.
Light and darkness, Door to heaven, my home in the sky,
The Fountain of Living Water that never shall run dry.

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD,
The Sovereign Lord is on me,
Because He has annointed me
To preach good news to the poor;

Proclaiming Jesus,only Jesus-
It is Jesus,Saviour,healer and baptiser
And the mighty King,
The victor and deliverer-
He is Lord,He is Lord,He is Lord!

And He has called on me
To bind up all the broken hearts,
To minister release
To every captivated soul;

Let righteousness arise
And blossom as a garden;
Let praise begin to spring
In every tongue and nation'.

Here is one of my very favorite hymns of all time. In fact it is the very first song I remember hearing in church when I was a child. It was written and recorded first by Stuart Hamblen but afterward was recorded by hundreds of others including Elvis Presley, Pat Boone and Mahalia Jackson.

It Is No Secret (What God Can Do)

The chimes of time ring out the news
Another day is through
Someone slipped and fell
Was that someone you?

You may have longed for added strength
Your courage to renew
Do not be disheartened
For I have news for you

It is no secret what God can do
What He's done for others, He'll do for you
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you
It is no secret what God can do

There is no night for in His light
You'll never walk alone
Always feel at home
Wherever you may roam

There is no power can conquer you
While God is on your side
Take Him at His promise
Don't run away and hide

It is no secret what God can do
What He's done for others, He'll do for you
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you
It is no secret what God can do

TRIVIA:
The title for this song is thought to have been taken from a chance
remark that actor John Wayne once made to Stuart Hamblen. The writer
then proceeded to complete the song in under ten minutes.

I heard Cliff Richard sing that at Earls Court,at a Billy Graham crusade in 1966. It was the first time he publicly declared his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. What a tremendous song it is! :)

I must needs go home by the way of the cross,
There&#8217;s no other way but this;
I shall ne&#8217;er get sight of the gates of light,
If the way of the cross I miss.

Refrain
The way of the cross leads home,
The way of the cross leads home,
It is sweet to know as I onward go,
The way of the cross leads home.

I must needs go on in the blood sprinkled way,
The path that the Savior trod,
If I ever climb to the heights sublime,
Where the soul is at home with God.

Refrain

Then I bid farewell to the way of the world,
To walk in it never more;
For the Lord says, &#8220;Come,&#8221; and I seek my home,
Where He waits at the open door.

A Call To Prayer
Softly the evening vespers
Hallow the closing day;
Sweetly the Savior whispers,
&#8220;Come to the throne and pray.&#8221;

Refrain:
Softly I hear Him calling,
Calling at close of day;
Sweetly His tones are falling,
&#8220;Come to the throne and pray.&#8221;

Come, ere the shadows lengthen,
Bring Him thy burdened heart;
Come where His grace may strengthen,
Come from thy cares apart.

Smiles of His love await thee,
Lighting His lovely face;
Just to behold His beauty,
Dwell in the secret place.

Boldly we may approach Him,
Mercy and grace to own;
Tempted like us, He bid us
Come to the Father&#8217;s throne.

HE LOOKED BEYOND MY FAULTS
Words & Music by Dottie Rambo

Amazing grace will always be my song of praise
For it was grace that brought me liberty.
I can not know just why He came to love me so;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.
