A couple of pieces from the classical repertoire. I'm not a Christian, but I like good music of any kind, Renee Fleming's version of Franz Schubert's Ave Maria is excellent:

Giuseppe Verdi composed this aria, La Vergine Degli Angeli (The Virgin of the Angels) for an opera, The Force of Destiny. Leonora, the lead female character, takes refuge in a monastery and prays to the virgin Mary. The Australian soprano, Mirusia Louwerse, does a knockout rendition of the aria backed up with a huge male chorus and orchestra conducted by Andre Rieu. Verdi, who wrote some of the greatest operas in history, was not religious. But he could still compose some heavenly music.

One more example of great Christian music. Mozart composed the Mass in C minor (AKA, the "Great Mass') in his early 20s. The Kyrie eleison (Lord, have mercy) is the first section. It's followed by the Christe eleison (Christ, have mercy) which is written for the chorus and solo soprano. It's an outstanding piece of music. (Check out 2:45 to 5:30 in the clip.) It's amazing that someone that young could compose such music.
