Some of my favorites are Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Doobie Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Blondie, Led Zeppelin, Journey, The Velvet Underground, Buckingham Nicks, The Monkees, Boston, and The Eagles, but my all time favorite band will always be Fleetwood Mac.

My favorite band by far is Iced Earth.
I am willing to bet that no one here has heard of them, but In my opinion they are simply the best metal band around at the moment. They just released a new album "The Glorious Burden" in January with a history theme that is simply amazing.

Check out some of the samples on amazon. They only let you year 5 tracks and they leave out the best songs but Declaration day and greenface are are awesome. The highlight of the album by far is Gettysburg, best epic ever.
