I'm surprised at how few people have listed FF IX. Have that few people played it, or am I just in a minority for liking it? I see a lot of VII (obviously), and some VIII, which surprises me since I couldn't really get into it and a lot of my friends didn't like it that much. Strangely enough, besides the Final Fantasys, was Crash Team Racing. It's the only racing game I've really been able to get into. I don't know why, though.

I think you're just in the minority.

OH! And I forgot the only shooter series I've been able to get into, the Metal Gear Solid series. Not really a true shooter, but it can be very violent. I enjoy trying to sneak past everyone. It's the only thing that I have the patience to just sit and watch stuff happen for 5 or 10 minutes just so I can sneak past one guard without getting caught.
